Sword Of Truth TV Series.

In what is great news for all fans of the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind, is that its coming to TV set near you (well in the US anyway). It will be a 22 eps series all 1hr long and filmed in HD. The series will cover the first book - Wizards First Rule.

Here is hoping it will be a great success and further series will be made.

My 30th B'day Party

Sat night was the night I had a few friends around. With a couple of surprise guests a good time was had. Pidgeo brought his 80's/90's style arcade stick plus many many games from the good old timezone days.

All the favourites were happening, ice cream cake, lots of food, Wii, Singstar, Lots of football on TV and plenty of beer, vodka and jelly shots were consumed.

Good work from Dan for showing up after coming out of hospital only hours earlier. (Knee op)

SEU vs Umina - Derby Day

Well I have now experienced the "Derby Day" vs Umina Football Club. This also happened to be my first game with SEU.

The reserves got up 5-0 with Ned, James grabbing 2 each and Kev and Clint also getting on the score sheet. A great game by the reserves team and I am led to believe this a long time coming having been a few years since the reserves got over Umina.

With the reserves game being a little bit tame and not having the fire of a traditional derby day game, the first grade game made up for this.

With Umina grabbing an early goal, things started to liven up when SEU lost 2 players to some "interesting" refereeing decisions. Then with some frustrated SEU players and soft Umina players led to some heated moments. The first played hard with 9 players and eventually lost 4-0. But they will bounce back next week.

One thing I have noticed is how professional and club orientated SEU are. A great crowd was on hand, a presentation after the games, what a great club.
