The front garden is finally underway and hopefully will be finished in the next 3-4 weeks.

A New Bourne Book! - The Bourne Betrayal

Just as i was searching amazon to buy the last remaining 3 books of the Sword of Truth series i came across this wonder! I cant believe there is another book.

The Author is Eric Van Lustbader and he also wrote book 4 of the series called "The Bourne Legacy". I also read that he plans to write a sequel to this book.

Cant wait to read this one...

Nailed by a cattle dog

During my run last night i was bitten on the leg by a blue cattle dog. The owner was teaching it to sit before crossing the road and as i ran pass it had a little go and i couldn't swerve enough and it latch on to my shorts and grabbing a bit of skin. Dogs like that should be muzzled and owners should know and keep a greater hold on them. A little sore, but will have hopefully cleaned it enough.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Last Night i downloaded and watched the first episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I enjoyed the 3 Terminator movies and i am in desperate need of a new TV series to watch while i ride my bike, so i thought i would give it a go!

The verdict - Great stuff, lots of action and follows the story line from the movies nicely.

Here is the official summary:

The Terminator franchise arrives on TV with this serial drama. The series picks up a year after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day with John and Sarah Connor (Thomas Dekker and Lena Headey) hiding from the government. After two years in one place Sarah decides they need a change of scenery and in doing so they expose themselves to FBI Agent James Ellison (Richard T. Jones) and Skynet's army of Terminators including Cameron Phillips (Summer Glau) a reprogrammed Terminator sent to protect John. She informs them that Judgment Day was not stopped and will take place in 2011. John convinces Sarah to stop hiding and fight so Cameron takes them to a time machine the resistance has set up to take them to the year Skynet was created 2007.

Just grabbed this off the wii shop. Playing the worlds most famous game on the worlds greatest console(he he come on pidgeo blog back).

Is was about time, 5 months worth of hair and wicket was looking like a hippy! So we could have none of that and we put our new clippers to work.

New Gardens for the House

With a quick trip to the markets up at the parents and a few dollars later we have started a gardens. This is just the start and there is alot more work to do.

New Years - 2008!!!

Another year gone by! another year older!! A big 2008 is on the cards with my 30th and big Jacko and Nat getting married... what else will this year hold.

We celebrated the night with Jacko and Nat, Big Dog and Rach and Andrew. We had plenty to drink thanks to Tokar Estate Wines. Daf and Jann and family dropped by and it was great to catch up with Cal and Wendy who i hadnt seen for many many years.

The first day of 2008 was spent swimming and drinking at Daffys house.

Xmas Celebrations.

Kaylene and i tis year decided that this year in our new house that everyone will come to us. This started with christmas eve night with my Mum and Dad, Skye and Glenn. Santa came early in our house and we started opening presents. :)

Christmas day was massive, Bruce and Lenore were over (and newly engaged) and so was Kaylenes Grandma and Grandad. As well as Andrew and my parents it was a full house. It was a good excuse to test my new weber BBQ (and with my new temp gauge xmas present), the pork roast on this was fantastic.

Bryce and Amanda were around later that night for more presents and food.

The day was finished off with a backyard cricket game with our new neighbors Tom and Jack.
